Liquid coffee extracts are made exclusively from freshly ground roasted coffee beans, complying with the German Coffee Ordinance. The liquid coffee extracts are aseptically filled so that aroma, flavour and high quality are particularly well preserved in BiB (Bag in Box). These now have the user-friendly CMB connector.
The coffee is produced by mixing high-quality extracts with water in the correct ratio in order to ensure consistently good quality of black coffee. This is also the basis for many different speciality coffees from espresso and cappuccino up to latte macchiato and chocolate coffee. Perfectly portioned and tempered for coffee enjoyment.
In order to use the liquid coffee extracts without a corresponding fully automatic coffee machine, a BiB must be provided with a spout (CMB adapter). Depending on the dosage, the appropriate amount of concentrate is filled, mixed with hot water and filled into thermos flasks.
Manufacturers recommended mixing ratios: 1:20 up to 1:30, as a ratio of coffee concentrate to water, one part of coffee concentrate to 20 or up to 30 parts of water. So, a BiB from 2 litres produces about 42 to 62 litres of coffee. Depending on the desired strength, the amount of water can be reduced to 1:20. For slight coffee, the ratio can be 1:30 or higher, if desired.
The shelf life of the coffee is approximately 12 months after production. Shake the BiB well before use. After opening, the coffee concentrate should be consumed within 6 weeks if refrigerated at < +6°C, or within 2 weeks if the BiB is unrefrigerated.
